JLBC Is Named Volunteer of the Year
September 27, 2005 - The Junior League of Berkshire County was awarded
the prestigious Volunteer of the Year Award by the
Gladys Brigham Center at the center’s Annual Meeting
on September 27. Because of JLBC's partnership with
Girls Inc., the entire organization was honored for
their contributions. The award was presented by Carol
Bradwell, Director of Programs. Ms. Bradwell also announced at the event that JLBC's
fundraising dollars will be matched by the family of
Gladys Brigham. Now, every dollar given will be matched dollar for dollar, for funds to go towards the
Youth Empowerment Services (YES) program.
